☺☺☺☺☺ - This is a movie that blows my mind. This could mean, it either left a lasting emotional impression, a life influence, or it's so cutting edge, it's different from everything that came before and is bound to be a major influence on other movies. It's usually a movie that you feel the need to watch it again soon after the first viewing.
☺☺☺☺ - These are top movies that I think could have their place in anyone's video library. They could be action flicks or tear jerkers, but whatever it is, they succeed in what they set out to be. In spades.
☺☺☺ - Good entertaining movies. Perhaps not masterpieces, but all resist repeated viewings, which is for me the cutoff point to enter my little movie library.
☺☺ - These are the ones that didn't make it. I can even enjoy watching it once, but I won't bother ever watching it again.
☺ - This really doesn't deserve a 'smiley'. These are the stinkers that make you regret wasting time watching it. When you're in the movie theather, you're either want to leave earlier or you just take a nap if the seats are comfortable. At home, hitting the 'fast forward' button immediately qualifies them in this group. Avoid them.
